Daniel Lawrence Frost

Daniel Lawrence Frost, age 41 of Monticello, KY, passed away Sunday, February 4, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born August 13, 1982, in Indianapolis, IN; the son of Cynthia Wright and the late Joseph Lee Frost. Along with his mother he is survived by: his wife, Valencia, and three children, Kane, Eliana, and Daniel Jr.; one brother, John Jones Frost; one sister, Amanda Frost Thompson; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen Lawrence & Sharon Frost, Emma Anderson and Marcia Faye Jay. He was a man who loved God and country and was proud of being both a baptized child of God, and United States Airman. He was a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, serving with the RED HORSE squadron as a combat engineer. He was a passionate, charming, easy-going and loving man who enjoyed life, the outdoors and loved his family. He was friendly to every person and helped anyone in need. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 9, 2024, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Micah Stonewall and Bro. Stephen Frost officiating. Burial was in the Frost-Hicks Cemetery. Full military honors were provided by our local DAV Chapter 105. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Daniel Frost Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home of Monticello, KY in charge of the arrangements.
