Adell Keith

Adell Keith, age 101, of Spencer, passed away peacefully at 9:03 PM on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer. She was born in Monticello, Kentucky on February 10, 1923, the daughter of Albert and Bertha (Dodson) Tucker. Adell was married to Lee Keith for 70 years before he passed away in 2011. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Community Church of Spencer. She enjoyed cooking for others, sewing, and sharing her love for the Lord with others. She encouraged all she knew to attend church. Adell is survived by her children, Sue (Fritzi) Sips, Doris (Charlie) Crum, Verl (Debbie) Keith, and Tilden (Tresa) Keith; grandchildren, Scottie (Kathy) Sips, Kevin (Tammy) Sips, Davetta (Andy) Fidler, Danny (Nichole) Crum, Dennis Crum, Darin Crum, Dave (Heather) Keith, and Trent (Hannah) Keith; 23 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Lois Bixler, Al (Joan) Tucker, Chris (Charlie) Blair, and Harry Tucker; sisters-in-law, Margie Tucker and Phyllis Tucker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Keith; siblings, Roland “Short” Tucker, Ophard “Slim” Tucker, Odus “Ode” Tucker, Leonard Tucker, and Gilmer “Gib” Tucker; brothers-in-law, Bill Bixler and John Stahl; sisters-in-law, Doris Tucker, Beverly Tucker, and Laura Tucker; and a grandson, Scottie Thompson. Visitation will be held at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 4:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 7:00 PM., with her son Tilden Keith and Pastor Allan Lewis officiating. Graveside service will be held at Chambersville Cemetery in Spencer on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, through the funeral home.
