Betty Sue Coffey

Betty Sue Coffey, age 71, of Somerset, KY, formerly of Monticello, KY, passed away February 3, 2021 at Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born November 10, 1949 in Monticello, KY; the daughter of the late Roy and Minnie (Hunley) Crabtree.

She married Frank Lyle Coffey who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Francis Smith and 2 sisters, Knoxie Withers and Carrie Lamberson.

She is survived by: 1 son, Frank (Christy) Coffey, Jr.; 1 daughter, Kim (Richard) Gaskin; 4 grandchildren, Dylan (Madison) and Madison Gaskin, Quinn and Griffin Coffey; and 2 sisters, Roxie Hicks and Nancy Jewell.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.hicksvaughnfh.com.
