Dear Editor,

I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Coach Rodney and Cynthia Woods, Athletic Director Kevin Jones, The Wayne County Basketball Boosters Club, and others for their role in the Monticello High School 1974 State Tournament Team 50 year reunion at the February 3^rd game against Bardstown.   Thanks also to Marsha Bertram’s class for the beautiful banner they made.  The reception was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious.  Everything was well planned and organized, and provided a perfect venue for friends, teammates, and classmates, to get together and rehearse good memories of 50 years ago.  It was so nice of you to think of Monticello High School accomplishments.  Well wishes for the future of all Wayne County sports teams.  GO CARDS!  Hope you go to the state tournament this year.
